I was looking on the net today and ran across a site that was advertising a new brazing rod, (at least it's new to me) Called HTS-2000 for aluminum, cast aluminum, and other porous metals, it even included pot metal, and then HTS-528 for cast Iron and others of such types. It claims to be better than most any other type of welding/brazing, for these types of metals, if they're right, then I can see where they could be very useful, a little expensive, $65 per #1, but if it does what they claim, anybody ever used this product? If so, please share your thoughts. Thanks in advance.
Steve

P.S.
Here's their site for anyone who may be interested.

I've used them both and they work as advertised. The problem is that they are too expensive so you can't really use them on production work. For repairing expensive/irreplaceable castings, they are the only way to go.

The 528 material requires some practice to get the flux to flow, otherwise you end up with no fusion. Once you get the hang of it, they work.
