Up Topic Welding Industry / General Welding Discussion / Clear tig cups?

Hello I'm wondering if anyone has any information on where to purchase clear tig nozzles
I've heard they are made out of fused quartz, pyrex, or specialized translucent ceramics.
I'm looking for the "standard" threaded cups. I found one brand but they were push on and took a custom collet holder, collet and gas lens etc.

I've seen them referenced before in material and I found some for micro torches. But none for more standard torches. they surely must exist

any help would be appreciated.

I have only seen them on micro torches and they were the "push-on" type. They are not very durable I can tell you that.

brittle materials like quartz, pyrex don't hold up well when repeatedly threaded on and off. probably manufacturers avoid making them for that reason.
