SWCI

I am a QA/QC Engineer and I am a certified EWS (European Welding Specialist) in accordance with the rules of the International Institute of Welding, which qualifies for IWS (International Welding Specialist).

I recently attend to an AWS CWI course during which I discover that my qualification is corresponding to a SWCI and I have been told that I could ask to AWS certification board authorities to obtain this certification but I don’t know were I have to call to have more information

Somebody can tell to whom I can write

You can contact Terry Perez at AWS Headquarters in Miami at tperez@aws.org.

You will need to provide her with complete documentation of your certification and all the details of the program as far as training requirements, examinations, duration of the certifications, your work history, etc.

She can provide you with other details.

Don't delay. The Certification Committee meets next week in Miami.
