Can anyone advise where/which have specified regarding Min/Max Interpass Temp Required/Allowed for Structural / Pipin Welding
Many of the I've seen, it is stated max. interpass temp - 250 degree celcius
thank you

No comment on the structural side, but on the piping side the min/max is a function of those temperatures recorded on the PQR.

The minimum and maximum interpass temperature is dependent on the base metals being joined and what you are trying to control. Maximum interpass is controlled when welding austenitic stainless steel possibly to control sensitization. In the case of carbon steel, grain size may be influenced by limiting the interpass temperture below a certain maximum temperature due to the influence grain size has on notch toughness. In the case of heat treatable aluminum alloys, time at temperature can adversely affect the mechanical properties.

There's no rule that fits all situations.

One of the best, short and concise answers about this topic I've read in a long time.
