Form E-4 in AWS D1.1:2004

Is it me or is there a problem with the "Table" references on the form.

Electrode (single or multiple) [Table 4.11, Item (8)] - Table 4.11 only goes up to 7

Position [Table 4.11, Item (4)] - Table 4.11 Item 4 refers to the diameter or thickness

Most of the table references in the VARIABLES section do not match up at all.

Any comments would be very much appreciated.

It looks like incorrect references. Send your observations in to the D1.1 committee so they can add it to the errata. Hopefully it was changed in the 2006 edition. There are others you didn't note.

From the 2002 edition, there was an item 3 that was dropped in the 2004 (re: approved electrode/shielding) The E4 form was apparently not updated to reflect the resulting change in numbering.

(items 4 through 8 in 2002 would now be items 3 through 7 in the 2004, and items 1 and 2 remain the same)
