Can anyone suggest a good source for stainless flux core wire? The only one I've found so far is WeldingDepot.com .
Thanks.

Diameter? Spool size? Grade? Do you have a local distributor that you work with?

Probably a 12" spool, .035", and 316L. I'm sure some local places can order it, but no one stocks it. I was mainly looking for online sources. Saving on the tax and markup a retailer would have could end being more than a few bucks.

I bought some through my local Holston Valley Gases distrubitor a while back. I'm sure any welding supply place can order it.
Be prepared though, it costs about $11 per pound...

really shop around right now. Wire from good manufacturers has a $3-4/lb or more difference between them right now. We get ours from a local supply store, but you can get it anywhere from $7-$12/lb for 1/16" diameter depending on who makes it.

Hey Bill,
WeldingDepot is one of the best places to shop. I get most of my wire from them as I like to save a bit too, and they are very reasonable with pricing. I have found some good buys on the 10-12# spools of various wire on E-Bay too.......Denny

Thanks for the feedback. I'll keep an eye on E-bay too.
