I'm sure that many of you have done your share of having to grind off galvanizing on parts in preparation for welding and probably equally as many have experienced the grinding wheel loading up when you are doing this grinding. One method that helps with this problem is to spray the grinding wheel occasionally with WD-40, it will definitely help to keep the wheel from loading up. Regards, aevald

You are quite accurate describing the effect WD-40 has on grinding wheels, saw blades (any type) and cutoff discs. I've been using WD for years now and has never failed to minimize buildup. Excellent tip....Denny
