The flexible plates wrap around most shapes and come in 20 sizes. They can be used in a flexible or rigid cassette. When used with INDUSTREX HPX-1 digital systems, all plates meet requirements for EN 14784-1 and ASTM E 2446, but their use is not restricted to HPX-1 systems. The phosphor plates can be erased and reused thousands of times, and the images can be optimized and stored or shared digitally. Applications include computed radiography of welded fabrications, pipelines, erosion and corrosion, and castings. The Bracelet mechanism fits securely to the pipe. That and its rubber wheels provide a sure grip so the scanner doesn’t slip during operation. It can operate with a single phased array probe for pipe-to-fitting inspections or, with the extended bracket, can be configured for dualsided inspections. It is compatible with industry-standard small-bore phased array probes and flaw detectors. Phoenix Inspection Systems www.phoenixisl.co.uk 44-1925-826000
