LEADERSHIP

RWMA is driven by active Committees that develop programs and initiatives to advance the resistance welding process, its education and its promotion. Each Committee is comprised of members from various companies who offer their ideas and constantly move forward on improving every aspect of this business. Your participation on one or more of these Committees is encouraged and will prove rewarding.

 

Governance Committee
The purpose of the Governance Committee is to manage RWMA finances and provide input to AWS for preparation of an annual budget. This committee may exercise these powers according to the RWMA statute, the membership, duties statement and the rules of operations.

The Governance Committee shall be composed of:

  • The four most recent past Chairs who are duly authorized representatives of member companies
  • The current RWMA Chair
  • The 1st Vice Chair
  • The 2nd Vice Chair
  • The AWS President
  • The AWS Executive Director
  • The RWMA Secretary
  • A representative from each division (machinery, copper products, components) who is appointed by the RWMA Chair

 

Executive Committee
The purpose of the Executive Committee is to review all issues pertaining to the management of the RWMA, and to make recommendations to the Governance Committee for approval and implementation.

Marketing Committee
RWMA offers year-round availability as well as quarterly newsletters that are sent to our members. RWMA works to educate and enlighten its membership with the latest issues and trends in the welding industry.
