The "Amazing Unloading Excavator" on Hogans link is pretty cool too!

I think it had more to do with being clamped on with a guide than total skill.

I drive by a Batch plant every day that unloads the Sand and Gravel from Rail cars a couple times a week. They use a large Track Hoe and they crawl up on the cars much like these pictures with out the guides though. Believe it or not he mounts from the side of the car then turns 90' to move the length of the cars while unloading.

Heck of an operation because the plant is on the opposite side of a busy highway and they have to pile up big piles of aggregate and then load it on to trucks and haul it across the road to the plant.

well I have learned after serious observation that it is consistent with 4130  LOL!  I can almost get parts to dance at will now.   Maybe I could teach them some line dancing and take the show on the road eh?  But as far as an answer I am right where we left off.

Have your recorded the materials and parameters you tested at for the others? When you get them to line dance, I'd like rights to manage the show.
