I want pics of you guys with your rigs. I figure in 10-15 years they will be talk pieces in my shop.
Parent - - By sbcmweb (****) Date 07-13-2008 02:00
Kaye, do I have to have a Lincoln pipe rig to get on your wall? I'm not a pipe guy, but I got a sweet little general repair setup with a blue machine. Thanks. Steve.
Parent - By KSellon (****) Date 07-14-2008 13:12
any machine. Our shop works on all welders, Miller, Lincoln, engine driven, electric, etc-- I just want chat pieces for 20 years down the road.

Parent - - By texwelder (***) Date 07-15-2008 03:30

Parent - - By texwelder (***) Date 07-15-2008 12:25

18 yrs. I posted my story this same post box but under ' how did you get your start?'Check it out. To make it short, my grandpa owned his own diesel mechanic shop in central TX. He let me burn a few and then I was hooked. The whole story is over on the other post window. I am at the bottom of page two.   How about you?
Parent - - By texwelder (***) Date 07-17-2008 12:34
Where in central texas was his shop? I started because my old man was a welder, helped him for years decided I liked it went out on my own, weld mainly on oilfeild junk, its ok  but I want to get into pipe work bad. I've been practicing my downhill work. I've been out on my own for about 7 yrs or so.

Parent - - By pypLynr (***) Date 07-20-2008 04:45
Buddy , I am wearing an AGGIELAND t-shirt and my favorite aTm visor right as we speak. My kids are all aggie fans and my wife is too. Since I grew up and still live in Burnet TX , it is only right. Stephen McGee is from here also. His dad was my coach when I was in school. My son is also named Stephen , he's a junior this year . He is varsity and first string off. & def. His goal is to go to A&M ... sports or no sports. He won't have any problems, he is 3rd in his class. We also root for Jordan Shipley who plays for TU , but only when A&M ' s not playin'.   haha. Are you guys die hard?
Parent - - By texwelder (***) Date 07-20-2008 17:03
My wife has two degrees from A&M, I would say so, hard core
