I havn't seen newer trucks, but on the older Fords the cab & chasis dual wheel frames had the rails closer together behind the cab than on a pickup frame. If Your truck is a dually the tires may [or may not] stick out wider than the bed. Measure from the cab to the axel, and width between and over the outsides of Your tires and see how things match up.
