CWB Inspector Cert Prices

I noticed the cost for CWB certification is much less than that for AWS certification. Is anyone familar with their program.

Very interesting, reciprocity sounds very promising. Couldnt find the extra requirements for the level 3, any idea what they might be?

I am a CWB Certified Level 2 Visual Weld Inspector. For more info refer to the latest CSA 178.2 standard (Certification of Welding Inspectors).
Also certification is based on a understanding of CSA W47.1 and CSA W59 the later equivalent to D1.1. The price is good compared to the American dollar. CSA is a not-for-profit organization, and has given CWB authorization to act as a certificatoin service. I believe, I once read CWB is nonprofit also. Income is generated from numorous sources like inspections, testing, and company certification fees, this is then reflected in the price if codes and certifications.
