Thanks for the pics Cactus.  Always neat to see what goes on down there.  We have tri/tri Circus rigs up here, but none with the quad drive axles.  If we are in Road Ban season, we just split off the Derricks, and turn to carriers loose, or haul them on wheelers.

I was never a fan of hauling scissor substructures... Much preferred box subs with spreader bars, or just haul the whole darn thing together.  Yes, I realize you are playing with some big iron there, but there are many that are hauled as one piece.

The fellow in the welding gear reminds me of a Newfie I know that we call "Fluffy" 'cause when you run into him, it is like slamming into a big pillow.  I figure that when he is in the shower, he looks like a drowned Chi Hua Hua, and then as he dries off... "POOF" He fluffs back up again.

In any event Thanks again for the pics.

Good luck Shad with the leg, and getting things going your way again.

Parent - - By up-ten (***) Date 10-21-2008 02:10
Awwww, and how hot is it?
Parent - - By raftergwelding (*****) Date 10-21-2008 02:20
it was in the high 90's today mylegs felt like they were on fire
Parent - - By up-ten (***) Date 10-21-2008 02:40
Jeez, were waking up to 39 degrees, warming up(haha) to 47. I think you could manage that. Is there some sort of topical solution for your legs?
Parent - - By raftergwelding (*****) Date 10-21-2008 02:44
all i can use is lotion i have to wear compression pants under my jeans they are like full length spandex shorts they are meant to push the scars down so my legs (mainly the left ) will look somewhat normal just like the bottom half of a divers suit i have a vest i'm supposed to wear too but it itches to much i spend moe timescratching than i do anything else
Parent - - By ctacker (****) Date 10-21-2008 02:51
maybe this will help :)
Parent - By up-ten (***) Date 10-21-2008 03:19
Good one ctacker. Too funny.
Parent - By raftergwelding (*****) Date 10-21-2008 04:53
ummmmmmmm thats not where it itches
Parent - - By up-ten (***) Date 10-21-2008 03:24
Well I can see why working when its hot can be a major pain in the derriere. I'd be pretty cranky after wearing that kind of stuff.  I'm hoping the best for you Shad!
Parent - - By raftergwelding (*****) Date 10-21-2008 04:52
i dont get cranky over it well not the heat anyway i get cranky wheni get started on a machine and it gets to hot to finish it and by the time it's cool enuff to go back out theres only about an hr of day light left i hav 2 machines tore down to upgrade it sucks
Parent - - By up-ten (***) Date 10-21-2008 13:22

Yeah man, I think about the stupid thing all day like a new girlfriend! Cant find the energy or time to get started on her, but I sure will! Hey, we had her running Sunday evening and she died after about two minutes. Twice. Plenty of fuel in the filter. Any thoughts on what direction I should be looking? Maybe stirred up crap on the drive out here?
Parent - By rick harnish (***) Date 10-22-2008 02:30
Went to Tractor Supply to get a couple of lights so I could see to work on her after work. Dang place closes at eight. Guess its another night alone. LOL!!
Parent - - By raftergwelding (*****) Date 10-22-2008 02:43
