Hello everyone, courtesy of ctacker's suggestion, I managed to come up with some pictures to include for a helping hand with baseplates on tube steel. Here are the images. I usually try to come up with a cross-hair type layout, based on the hole layout and not the baseplate edges. Then I measure 1/2 the distance of the tube steel OD and make a reference line to locate the angle on. From there, it's a matter of putting a centerline on the tube steel, hanging the baseplate on the end of it and lining up the centerlines. Tack it into place and you're pretty much ready to do some welding. Hope some out there will see how this might help them out. I would also love to see and hear of any additional ideas for accomplishing the same thing. Best regards, Allan
PS: John, this is yet another use for that recycled angle iron with the window.
