- - By hogan (****) Date 11-07-2008 21:20
I have seen where some people have linked to a thread, I know how to do this. But some have linked to a particular post in a thread. How do I do this? Thanks for any help.

How I do it is, I go to the address bar at the top of the page - highlight the address displaye then copy and past ( remember to hit enter imidiatly, in microsoft word application this is required to activate links.

Mwccwi,
Thanks. I know how to do what you have explained. But what I was wanting to know is how to link to one post specifically. So the linked thread will go to a specific post in the thread.

I think if you search for a keyword in a particular post and then copy the http:/ that when you paste it that the post will be on the top and the keyword will be in red.  That may not be exactly what you are looking to do but maybe it will help.
