I'm not offended rafter, actually got the ranger used with 750 hours on it for $900. I understand what you mean about the all day thing. I've run it a few days all day between welding, running tools and so on, usually would shut it down for a few minutes while I took a break just to give it a rest! Like I said, we all started somewhere and we did'nt just fall into a $45k truck loaded with gear and top notch machines.
I'll stick with it, love welding and fab, welding is one time I am truly relaxed, mind focused on one thing, the weld. As a mechanic it was thinking about what a p.o.s this car is, what genius thought about putting this junk here. Just want you "old guys" to remember that one time many years ago you were in a ratted out truck with a ratted out welder to get started.....unless you had credit or money tree. Next year have goals of being better than this year, maybe a few years a machine with a Diesel.
