Hey All, Been gone for a while.Working 7 days on and off since sept and a lot of 12 hrs. When I got time off i did my 1st love(course,,after God and family) fishing for big Cats and crappie. I have a question for the board.. I have a ranger 250 that a guy turned the heat way up to blow a hole out and now it will only make a small spark,no weld. I have not seen the machine yet. He is bring the machine by on weds.Cranks and runs great just no welding.Has a 20 hp Kolher engine.
Does any body have sugestions?? Thanks in advance.... mikeb
Check the rheostat; did the "wiper brush" climb on top of a bunch of dirt/crud at max position and "burn" the wire on the rheostat due to the resistance?
Hey Kaye and 357max,Right now I can't git the engine to crank to check the AUX. I have not checked the rheostat for trash. Is there a "meter" check I can make on the rheostat? I think the machine has been sitting longer that the guy said there is a lot of rust on some of the conections. And some dirt dubbers nest under the hood. Thanks mikeb
