There isn't any bearings. Its a hand cart . I'm finishing it today , it going to have a T handle up front. Those are just some replacement lawnmower wheels and tires I purchased at Tractor Supply Co. They are inexpensive and do the trick . Thanks for the compliments on it . I'm considering making them to sell .

Keepin the ol' rods safe is important, but beer takes precedence. lol
They should sell okay. Being made out of aluminum it should be light and it takes the hassle out of toting an ice chest and I also liked the rod holders.
I might have to invest in some more modern equipment if I want to make $$. LOL This one has taken me a couple days ... ya know all the hand fitting and bending . Once I get all the demensions and cut lengths mapped out , it should go alot quicker . LOL

Yeah , thats what my uncle said . He goes down to Rockport . I'll probly give him this one and make me another one ... with all the bugs worked out . LOL This one is 24" wide and 48" long . Wheels and all only weighs 26 lbs. so its pretty light ... easy to load and unload out of the truck .
Looks good. Maybe You could find some all plastic wheels so nothing will rust.
The North Carolina guys have a similar thing but without wheels bolted to the front bumper of their trucks. They drive the truck right on the beach & surf fish.
I told my uncle that I was gonna let the air out of the tires and fill them with helium . LOL The wheels are powder coated silver , so I don't think they will rust .

I haven't thought of that ... thats a good idea. It would be an expensive cart for trash cans ! LOL Not really . Thanks for the compliments. I ordered some awesome acid to wash it with . I think it will shine like a new penny ! As soon as I get it 'washed' I'll post some new pics of it .
What type of acid? I have some raft frames that need to be shined up before the hi-water season. Got to look good when in the "Home of Foam".
It is used to 'wash' aluminum cattle trailers to brighten up the aluminum and to nuetralize the the urine . Not sure of the name ... soon as I get it I'll let you know .
