I haven't done the sleeve before but have worked with a welder who did and it was on a live line and the line was put in like in the 40's it went pretty good it was .300 wall
I've done the test for Enbridge - sounds like the same - water sleeve, etc - we did uphill (lohi) / downhill 6G as well as the sleeve and branch - longhorn have work? how does one get to test ? Lucky
yep, Minot and snow / weather has slowed down the lines horribly probably along w/ end-beginning of year sthit - 2 of 3 contractors still have pipe above ground from before xmas - digging is slow - Lucky
- I started w/ a company out of Douglas, Wy - Northwinds.. last I talked to them tho, they were slow too like everyone. Thought you had a shop going over in Williston?? I've been sub-contract to 3 or 4 contractors out by Stanley -
you bet i still do, just like to keep my options open. I still do alot of field work and the old man takes care of the shop. I like doing batteries, any pipe welding i like field work like being outside..
