ok guys, this one tops them all. I work on a offshore drilling rig, i have several welding machines thru out the rig with with some quick connecters in differnt rooms and locations. the one in the jack house is stripped and wont keep lead in. told our high tech electrican to change it out, so i ask him about it 2 days later and he tells me that he has to order some explosion proof and water tight connecters, im thinking the connecters are 4' above floor inside a jack house if water gets that high on the rig i dont think i will be running around the pipe rack looking for a leak. has anybody ever heard of such a thing before, would like to know before i put my foot in his ***.

He is really dazzling you with brilliance or just trying to baffle you with BS. lol

What do all the other welders have on them?  Have you ever heard of a problem from what your using?

this guy cant dazzle anything but google, he always comes up with high tech ******** to keep from actually working.
this really happened
Our sub zero freezer was frosting up. Cook called for electrican to check it out, claims that floorhands were putting to much red snapper in freezer, claims the dna makeup of red snapper causes the moleclues to freeze and stick to the ceiling......lmao, i thought it might be from galley hands leaving the door open

I have to admit the guy is quite creative. A+ for effort.

He is bull---ing you though, he is lazy and doesn't want to order them. On the other hand... should he really be ordering explosion and waterproof leads, can you send me some? They sound nice.

Point out to Him that If He orders something that isn't compatible with ALL THE OTHERS, that He will HAVE TO CHANGE THEM ALL.
