Job Description

Atlantic Staffing Consultants is seeking experienced Combination Pipe Welders for work on an oil refinery construction project in Louisiana.

The project is expected to last 6 months to a year!

All applicants should be trained in:

horizontal rolled position (1G)
horizontal fixed position (5G)
pipe inclined fixed (6G)
vertical position (2G)

Previous experience working on oil/gas refineries, chemical plants or as a boilermaker welder a must!

These positions offer steady work, lots of overtime and great pay.

All candidates must be clean shaven, drug free, willing to relocate for the length of the job and be ready for immediate work.

Job Requirements

Valid Drivers License & Social Security Card
Verifiable professional references
Pass Drug Test
Pass Criminal Background check
5+ years of welding experience
Possess basic tools of the trade
Able to read welding blueprints
Able to work 50+ hour work week
Be able to pass Crafting Test
Must have valid TWIC badge

I agree especially with the amount of test.  But its still a job.  Im working at 23 an hour with no pd. It pays the bills and unfortunatlly rate now we got to be happy with what we can get.

Great pay. I see that all the time. Look, the people who live in big-ass homes along the country club golf course get great pay. The people living in FEMA trailers get lousy pay. There's a word for welder's pay in Louisiana and that word is AVERAGE.

Sorry , I just saw the ad and thought hey if a man was needing a job, its better that a poke in the eye... I never read the payscale or most of the ad. My Bad ( I hate that saying) But it fits.

21 and 50 singlehand while not great is decent and 6 months work if you are scratching your unemployed butt beats unemployment. Always better to look for a job when you have one than look for one after you get laid off.

I'm in Louisiana and that doesn't sound all that great to me. I'll stick with the job I've got now
