/ Al welding of 1.6 mm wire

Dear members,
Can you share your experience of welding Al 1.6 mm wire with 350 A 60% duty cycle mc(inverter).
As I want to go for 1.6 mm Al wire,just for trial purpose I want to run it on 350 A mc.Will it work for trial ?

Yes, you should be ok for trial purposes. We run it at around 24.5V and 275IPM to 300IPM of wire. I know the amps are well below 350ish.
