Up Topic Welding Industry / General Welding Discussion / How much will my 1 ton dually "squat"
- - By rmkrider1 (**) Date 03-15-2009 23:41
I in the process of building a flat bed for my '98 GMC 1 ton dually. The bed isn't going to cover the tires completely so I plan on putting fenders to cover the whole tire. So right now it's just a flat bed with no side skirts and the bottom of the bed is about 10" above the tires.

Anybody have an idea of how much the bed "squat" once I put my machine, Bottles and tool boxes on.
I know it's hard to say.....Just hoping somebody that's been in the same situation could me an idea.

You need to check into installing Timbrens Overloads. They are 300 bucks installed. Your truck will not squat with those on
