I had one,a '72 model 200 amp DC water-cooled welder.GE has no replacement parts or manuals anymore.You have to rebuild whatever is worn out.I had to have the starter,waterpump,and generator rebuilt at a place that rebuilds car parts.I ended up selling the welder for $800.00.All that being said,it was a pretty good, durable welder.

Do you remember what size of engine was on it? Do you know how you can find out the year?

It was a Wisconsin 4 cylinder, flat head,with a gravity-feed fuel system.There is a serial number on the block,with the year of manufacture.
