More Obama Hilarity

And you gotta love this one.
Obama, again posturing himself as the guardian of American Ideals, accuses the CIA of illegal torture (never mind waterboarding wasn't considered illegal) and threatens to release documents and photos, AND prosecute to boot (not to mention the unconstintutional idea of prosecuting after the fact with him now, with a wave of his hand, designating waterboarding illegal).
He releases some docs but not all. And no photos yet because Cheney may be right.
Nancy Pelosi says I got your back Mr. President and jumps into the fray.
But her accusations go too far (not to mention she insists she never knew) and staunch lefty and CIA Director Leon Pinetta (to his great credit) jumps on her saying prove it or shut up.
Now Obama has his chief security guy Pinetta (seemingly the only one with integrity here) at odds with the person responsible for designing and implimenting his socialist agenda, the honorable (choke! choke!) Madam Speaker of the House.
But where's Obama?
He's pulled back in silent horror at the schit he has stirred up and is forcing his press secretary to look the fool refusing to answer questions on the subject hoping this thing blows over, but Nancy just won't shut up!! Or apologize.
And whatever happened to the campaign promise of full White House disclosure? What are you hiding Mr. President. Or better, why are you hiding?
This hilarity is unprecedented as well.

mY GUES IS THE PICS DID NOT GET RELEASED CUZ, WHEN PEOPLE SEE THE "INHUMANE TREATMENT" THEY WILL SEE THAT THIS WAS NOT WHAT THE LEFITES MADE US TO THINK.
IN OTHER WORDS THE IMAGES ARE MOST LIKLEY NO BIG DEAL.

Along with that they will have to release the info we gathered using it, the American (or others-lets not forget it wasn't just Americans in the WTC-we didn't suffer alone) lives that were saved, AND the fact that we tried (Obama's famous) alternative methods (perhaps even the dreaded panties on the head ploy made famous at Abu Graib-or however you spell it-never did figure out how recreation for some is torture for others) with no success prior to escalating to waterboarding.
And I would think since waterboarding demonstrations have been pretty common the last few weeks on TV, without great horror or outrage, that you are dead on.

You got to hand it to this guy. He may be the smoothest, most eloquent, most gifted speaker I've ever seen in politics. That monologue at Notre Dame was a thing of beauty. He goes to a Catholic university as the most frighteningly liberal President in history on abortion and there were still some fawning all over him as if it meant nothing.
But all I have to say is, where's Toto when you need him.
