I have a sa200 Classic 1.  It welds great and is in pretty good shape , but I do have a small problem.  When I strike an arc and it fires up, it seems to rev too high as if it goes past the governor.  When in it is just idleing it sounds fine.  I've had it 3 years and had no problems otherwise.  Im not schooled on the machine's so someone please help.

if your machine has the TM27 engine--the governors are starting to wear out-- ONG has a fleet of them and one by one the govs are failing.

Thanks for your help. Any idea what it might cost for repair?

parts to rebuild them run about $70. But there is a 50-60 day lead time on parts.
