Yes. This one needs adjusting. There is not enough clearance for the "reed" to clear.

I always thought it was called a "juice harp"

never saw it spelled out... Funny how that works sometimes

Wiki says it has no real connection to the Jewish folks and in fact it has connections to 3rd century BC China!

Yeah I can not seem to find anything on how it got that name. I thought Cactus had misspelled it, but I did a quick search and found it under that name as well.

When I was a kid, That was once the "in" thing to have just to piss off the teacher. The Music stores in Houston at the time were called H&H Music. They told us back then that was the proper name. A Jaws Harp. I don't know if that is the proper name but it sounded cool to a bunch of kids back then. So.... That became the name I knew it as. We all had a few of them. You could even get them in different sizes and tones.

It is known and documented under "Jaws/Jaw harp" as well. I had never heard it called that and when you posted I was thinking "misspell" but knew your attention to detail so I did a search for it as "Jaws Harp" and..BINGO there it was. It makes perfect sense seeing as you play it with your "jaw/s".

Another fine example, at least for me, that one can learn something new every day. Thanks Cactus.
