I have a purchase order for ¼ NPT C276 half coupling w/plug 3000# SA-575 hastelloy

My problem is with the SA-575……..can a coupling be made to this spec (Plate sheet and strip)?
This PO spec is wrong isn’t it?

Mike,
With all due respect sometimes you need to do a bit of investigating yourself.
It took me less than 2 minutes to google both and find C276 is Hastalloy and SA-575 is Standard Specification for steel bars, carbon, merchant quality.
So obviously your P/O is incorrect

Shane

I know , what im doing is venting ,I guess i have a strange way of doing it.
Seriously Shane dont think that i needed an answer, but every once and a while there is a catch 22 that makes a difference.

I can relate to asking a question I already know the answer to. Both for venting and to see what others will say. LOL
