Ive still got that chopped redface machine, a 66 redface thats as clean and low hour as you can find, ive got 3 shorthoods that i havent done anything with yet, and i got a 59 long hood that needs a motor rebuild. the 59 is the only non running unit ive got. i like to sell a machine before i start the next one. although ill probably start the next machine when the frost sets in and i cant push dirt anymore. thanks for the great word and im glad chris is getting along good with his machine

63 Max why do some people turn oil filter upside down. To me it holds less oil,my helper bought a 71 and it only holds 4 qt, my 90 holds 5qt
Parent - By jrod (**) Date 10-01-2009 02:31
I think that is how the old ones that came with the spin on filter were from the factory but I could be mistaken
Parent - By 63 Max (***) Date 10-07-2009 03:57
Yeah, that's how this one came from lincoln.
Parent - By raftergwelding (*****) Date 10-07-2009 17:44
its not they they turn it upside down it is the way they were sent from the factory and the oil pans are different sizes you oil pan could be off of a short hood which machine which holds 5 qts where mine hold 4 in the pan and a 1/2 a quart in the filter if you use a filter with a check valve in it the oil wont flow back to the pan when the enigine is not runnin
