Once consumable certs have been sighted by 3rd party inspection (under 3.2 certification), is there a requirement to keep the actual cert records for the normal 10-year period as per ISO 9001: 2000.

Thanks

ISO 9001:2000 does not specify retention periods.

Phil is correct,   ISO has requirements for Document, Data, and Records Control, but your quality system documents needs to specifically detail what records need retention, and for how long.

To my understanding your consumable only needs to be 2.2 certified.

3.2

3.2,
Please correct me if I am wrong but I thought for impact tested you needed a 3.1 and all else is 2.2 (or am I thinking of a particular specification requirement ?)
Cheers,
Shane
