Got in with some folks around here and been pluggin away at some gas pipe lately. Guess rigzone can't say I don't have experience anymore, hehe! Not that big 36" stuff, small stuff, 2", 3", farm taps and such but from my understanding small pipe is harder than big pipe cause your constantly changing your angle. All I can say is it's good stuff!! The guy who was working with me at the gas dept said my welds looked great, even compared them to the guy that used to be working there doing their welding. Why is he no longer there you ask? He's out running the pipeline somewhere, think they said Ohio?? Made me feel good that this guy who I don't know said that. Guess all this hard work is paying off, slowly but paying off. Here's some pics, we still have to go out and install the stuff next month but they wanted to get it ready so when the system is shut down we could swoop in and cut out the old and weld in the new...hence my interest insome new pipe jack stands.
