ok i found this job online todaqy on the twc website and it sounded pretty good but you need the nccer and twic card i'm sure this has been asked before but i am unable to find anything where can i get these certs

nccer is for pipefitters and such. welders dont need nccer. the companines i have welded for never ask for them for welders. and they tell me its for fitters. and the twic card could be obtained at tthe local safty council, and you can apply for it there. 132.50 bucks

i printed out the job sheet and it said nccer and twic required i dont haveeither 1 so the twc office would not give me an app. thanks for all the info fellas

Takes 3-8 weeks to get the tWIC card unless they loose the ap like they did mine. I missed out on some good weekend turn arounds. Its good for 5 years when you do get it.

Took less than 7 days to get my TWIC card here in tn.
