These Men and Women of the Pennsylvania National Guard are really special to me since quite a few of them I trained to weld & fabricate and their families were in the crowd welcoming them HOME!!! The best part is all of the ones I trained all made it back!!!

Man, that didn't take long at all. She went into dock for the conversion while I was stationed at PSNS, and I can count those years on one hand - barely! Any idea what the biggest holdups were? I know a little about what they thought they were going to be.

Thats amazing Henry! The quality of the ship to last and still be a viable resource arter all these years. No I'm not saying you are old! Congrats to you and all those that served our Great Nation aboard the USS Michigan. You my friend are a Hero in my book, Thank You!
