Anyone think Danica Patrick can save NASCAR?

Just heard that the spoiled little minx bought a ride in NASCAR to save its lagging tv viewership. She didnt do anything for Cart racing but make them look stupid. But the real problem arrises when the avid NASCAR fans hit the highway and start drafting and cutting folk off. I think most of the people who cant learn to merge onto a highway have to be learning to drive by watching a 3 hour mindless race to see 10 minutes of action and crashes. I know that a lot of people are going to squeel with disagreement but OH Well.
I cant sit through a whole football game or a ballet either which to me is about the same.

Now sprint car racing or a good fishing trip is a whole differerent mindset.

Danica save NASCAR? I live in the South and I am not a fan of NASCAR. Does she have any sponsors yet? I can just see her out there in her hot pink Victoria’s Secret-Kotex-Payless Shoes-Thighmaster-Vagisil-Monistat-7 car, and how is she going to be able to drive while applying her lipstick in the rear view mirror? Anyway, it might be fun to listen in on the conversation between her and the pit crew:

Pit Crew: "Slow down on the corners, you're wasting gas."

Danica: "Speak up. I can't hear you."

Pit Crew: "I SAID SLOW DOWN ON THE CORNERS, YOU'RE WASTING GAS."

Danica (sobbing): "Stop yelling at me! I can’t focus on the road when you’re YELLING AT ME!'

And then, what if she actually wins a race? Instead of bikini girls at the finish line, it will be hunky muscular dudes in Speedos popping their corks and squirting champagne into her mouth…..

She looks dang better in a race car than other of you would ! Let her race and if you don't like it buy your own ride or don't watch her. :) I would NOT pay to see any of you in a race car lol.

She's been in the indy type cars for awhile and still has not drawn my interest in racing and will not sway me to start watching, buying tickets to nascar. I always turn on a good race on sundays for something to put me to sleep! LOL!! Heck, my brother in law has worked for rousch(spelling?), childress(? is he a guy??) and now works for some toyota team. In the 10 or so years he's been married to my sister I have not asked one question about what he does, my sister on the other hand, she is sure to let me know how much he makes, who he works for and all that stuff. I guess that's why I live in Tennessee and not NC! LoL!! It's funny, I work with some guys that talk football, basketball and racing and they know the names of players, drivers, talking stats and going on and then they look at me. "Who you think's gonna win the big game/race this weekend?". I usually keep it simple and say "what race/game??"

The only sports I really get into anymore are diesel tractor or diesel truck pullin' and even then I don't go out of my way to go see one.

Hell I looks good at 200 with a full face helmet, Now I must admit she is a cute little spinner yes sir. Hell I would pay to see nobody in a race car, lets radio control them things.
