So i am 41 years old chased and cught my dream of being a rig welder(which was a bad idea lol should of stuck to the dream of moving to wyoming but found out it gets damn cold up yonder) found what i thought was the woman i had been looking for. Bought a house on 5 acres. Had a little boy ( you know the story) lost him to brain cancer. caught a fatal disease myself and almost died from it but hey here i am. sorry guys ill try better next time lmao( had to bring some kind of humor to all this mess) lost the house to forclosure from being ill and not being able to work and today the divorce was/is final. So i have to ask the question what is next? The good side of all of this i am alive and very thankful to be so just have to ask and wonder how much more B/S i have to endure before it is enuff. So belly up to the table take the cards order a drink and wait for the bet. Damn i have never been to vegas but sure feel like going my luck has to change sooner or later. IF YOU HAVE KIDS DONT FORGET TO HUG THEM EVERYDAY SO THEY KNOW YOU LOVE THEM.

WELL GERALD  i aint folded yet just keep getting new cards and waiting for the jack pot. either im tuff or just to damn hard headed to call it quits. still wondering if i did the right thing but its to damn late now. maybe i should start rolling dice again and give up on the wild card

Very well put CWI.  Most of us really do have much to be thankful for.

Rafter, I pray things go much better for you this year.  As well as for many here, we could all use a better year than the last couple have been.

thanks brent i dont try to compare myself to others cause i could be alot worse off and have no legt at all hell the dr's told me i'd never weld again i had to prove them wrong and did i burn my leg at least once every 3 months and have to nurse it again but i'm burning rod lol i know it aint funny but hell i cant feel it when it does get burned. i'm thinking its time to get my cwi but i have to weld to make the money to save up for that

I know that you probably read it before but, you might want to take another look at the book of Job (pronounced Jobe)... Even though you may not have been a pious man as Job, it still to this day kind of makes me understand better why I myself have suffered as much as I have over the years, and I read it over and over again until serenity is once again enveloping my spirit as I live my life one day at a time. :)

Shad, I cannot tell you that this will change things for you, but I can honestly say that it has helped me come to terms with the way things are for me at least. ;)
I also want you to know that you are always in my prayers FWIW my dear friend! ;) To a very successful year for you, and maybe one day we can both sit back and laugh at all of the "stuff' we had to go through in order to be better off than we were when this was written!!! :) :) :)

Things can get better for you and I hope it does real soon. To say that you've been through ALOT would be a huge understatement.

From what you have been through the last 2 years it has been tough. But you are alive. And the sun comes up every day. We were not promised that life would be fail but that life would be good.
I read a story about a POW in North Vietnam. He was in pretty bad shape when he was brought to the Hanoi Hilton. He had suffered injuries bailing out and they had not been take care of. Each morning when he woke up he was in constant pain. He embraced the pain because the pain meant he was alive. When he got back home and life started returning to normal he watched old comedies because the laughter meant he could live.
As you move on, and you will, you will start to laugh. The feelings you have now means you are alive. In time these feelings will not be so strong. Then is when you know you will live.

front end is wore out needs new upper n lower ball joints and left and right tie rod ends and gonna replace the front hubs before they fall off damn dodge and thier no greasin nothing what a rip off
