Well, We went through the audit today and yesterday, and am proud to say we got our certification, We had 6 high strength areas and 1 area of concern with 0 Corrective actions needed.
I would like to thank JRW159 for the help he extended on the verification board!
I think I can get some sleep tonight :)
Thanks again John,
Carl

Congratulations
We are having our Standard Building Audit in March.
We were Simple Bridges back 7 years ago for 3 years and things got slow and we dropped it.
But now as they are really starting to specify these qualifications and rejecting wavers making it necessary.
But good report.
Keep up the good work
Marshall

What kind of items would you produce under your Simple Bridge cert?

@ 7 years ago it was a requirement on the Contract for a 200' single span Pedestrian Walkway we did for the Florida DOT.
We let it drop after three years as I mentioned and now are going for the Building Standard instead.
But this category is appropriate for unspliced rolled beam bridges. Simple Bridges can be short, single span highway overpasses. They are also pedestrian bridges, connections between buildings, or bridges on private property. These projects may interface with contracts for state transportation departments.

Congrats Carl and crew,  it takes a lot of work and cooperation in the facility to accomplish that.

Atta boy to you John for helping out.  Pooling knowledge is a good thing.  Makes everyone's lives and jobs easier.

Have a Great Day,  Brent

Carl,
If you can get pictures without exposing proprietary images I would sure like to see what you ended up with.

Good job, that takes a lot of preparation for the organization. We just went through our third one.

so the handrail samples are a before and after thing right?  here's what you expect them to look like when there done?
Chris
looks good also

the 2 on the right are stainless, we have 2 levels of rail we do, one is ground and polished, and one is as shown on the 1st and 3rd one, but we expect all rail even when polished to look like the 1st and 3rd before polishing.
So, yes, I guess you can call them a before and after, or just an after, depending on the level of cleanup required!
Thanks,
Carl
