Going to be in New Jersey for the next 10 months. Any good places to eat at, go see? Much welding work needed there?

Arthur's Steakhouse in Hoboken, if it's still there.  Big slab o steak, homefries, and a 1 liter beer.  Also Ray's Pizza in Hoboken.(But watch out for the roaches in the bathroom.  15 years ago, they'd steal your wallet while you were using the facilities.)

1.)White Diamond Burger joint in Union, NJ Good Burgers!!! :) :) :)

2.)There's a Spanish Steakhouse around East Rutherford and Moonachie - near Giants Stadium that makes some great steaks and other great foods like their Sea food Paella is divine!!!

3.) If you go to West New York or Union city, New Jersey... You'll find some of the best Cuban Cuisine north of Talahassee, Florida!!! Btw, they all speak English at these restaurants, so you'll have no trouble ordering what you prefer because they will be more than happy to explain each of the dishes in their menus!!! :) :) :)

There are a wide variety of fine cuisine in New Jersey, and one place to look which will also offer a ratings system is Zagats online which will break it down for you based on the type of cuisine...

Here's a tip... Ask if you can see their kitchens... If they will not allow you in, it's a definite RED FLAG!!! If they do, and the kitchen is filthy ,well then - YOU DECIDE!!! :) :) :)

Respectfully,
Henry

They're starting a new subway tunnel from N.J. to Manhattan - Trans Hudson Express (THE).  I believe the Contractor for the New York City segment has been let to Barnard Construction, but I don't believe construction has started yet.  That's about all I know.  I have some GREAT restaurants for you.  Problem is I was there thirty years ago and I doubt they remain.  If so, Dick's Cabin in Yonkers, New York.
