i just bought a invertec v275s from a guy for 700 bucks it looks fairly new ive never used one of these inverter machines before i was wondering how they did on pipe ?  both stick and tig thanks

You should like it.

The arc force control is adjustable from -10 to +10

This adjustment senses voltage and when the electrode length is short (low voltage) the machine will deliver a little extra current (a form of slope control)

for 5p open roots a higher arc force setting will keep the electrode from sticking.

for low-hy a lower arc force setting will reduce spatter.

i just got a invertec v350 about a month ago . i havent even welded with it yet.
