hey guys,  one of my best customers told me to find a metal lathe to machine cross over subs , and just to machine odds and ends for them.  i am looking to find a machine that could chuck up to 10""

If You want to turn 10" stock, get a lathe about 16" swing or larger. Try to find one close to Your location, and be carefull when moving it. Most damage to machine tools happens when moving them. If You can find one, get one that has all the tooling with it. The tooling adds up fast.

its a 46 model, 3 phase, 20 horse, swing 26'', with a 10' bed, comes with steady rest and tail stock, 24'' chuck. One screw is cracked, just dont over torque it and its fine.It weighs just under 13,000. We have a forklift that will load it.
