Dear All,
My 1st post!!!
Thank you for a great forum. I have found many answers here.
My question: I have heard the term "Intermediate Stress Relief". Could anyone explain what the purpose of it is and when it should be applied.

I guess my mind is a blank right now on intermediate stress relief. Intermediate post weld heat treatment is a long hand way of saying hydrogen bakeout.
