I'll tell you what. Thats a damn good job. I rebuilt built mine myself. But didnt bother to paint the motor.
Only one thing you did that may cause problems in the future.
You painted your wires!
It will be a pain to find problems or looking at a diagram to how to wire again.
But it looiks like you wont have to.
Good Job!
i agree w tyler should of wired it after paint and theres a run on the tank haha just harassing ya a lil looks real good
A little town 30 mile east of Austin called Elgin ,east of there 2 mile.
I'm gonna bring u mine!!!!
Here are a couple more. Just been shining truck for the past two days, no work lately. You should have seen it when I started. I found a welding truck under there. LOL Oh, by the way, if you can't tell I am an Amsoil Dealer.
Looks good but now you got to repaint the tool box door lol. Hey at least you didn't put layers of paint over the mag and carb. That is what I hate when someone brings in a mag with 20 layers of old paint & dirt on it that can short the cap out too. Knife or carb cleaner on a rag will find the color of the wires again fast if needed no big deal.
Yea I remember back in the day I had a 428 pontiac motor and I over sprayed the cap and spark plugs and you talk about missing, I learned a lesson that day.
Mostly the dirt left on one or old lead base paints did that. Today's epoxy or acrylic paints work fine on a cap to dress it up if it is clean first and no cracks I use those to recondition caps all the time because of what some of the mag caps cost today.
