Hello Everyone,
Well I have decided to purchase a new Syncrowave 350LX (model 951119). But before doing so I have a few questions maybe you can help me out with:
1. is the power factor correction feature an option?
2. are the sequence controls an option?
3. for those of you that have or used one of these machines what size and length was/is the power cord, I would like to have a 50ft cord to the machine.
I realize I could contact Miller for these answers but I always appreciate the vast amount of expertise on this site.
Thanks -Lou

Thank you for the replies. I contacted the company I plan to purchase the welder from and yes these are options that I can install myself. In the end (based on the price I can get them) there is only about a $200 difference between the syncro 350 with the pf and seq options to the Dynasty 350. Less than that if I include the cost of the power cord of the syncro.
I really have been on the fence between 3 welders, all Miller..... syncro 350, dynasty 350, and dynasty 700. I read all the threads of all of them and I really should be getting the dynasty 350, but for some reason I'm stuck on this big blue power hungry machine that's been proven for years. Or maybe it's because I provided for this input power when I started construction on my shop 5 years ago before I was aware of the dynasty models.
Final question: so I was asking about a 50ft power cord for the syncro, well at 125amp/240V rated cord this could be extremely large, greater than the common #6awg. Though I will have the PF option installed, what cord size and length do you have on your syncro 350 (Lawrence, et'al)?
