Be careful with 3/32" out of position....many of the 3/32 FCAW wires are Flat and Horz only. After you cross the 1/16" threshold, many of the wire mfgs seem to recommend 1F/G and 2F/G only, for the same wire designation.
I think the puddle is pretty large and fluid for the 3/32" size wire making it difficult to control out of position...just my thoughts as to why.
BTW, we run many thousands of pounds of 3/32" FCAW every year...stuff like this takes 10 or more 60# rolls of wire to weld up.
