The form of execution in China is a pistol round to the back of the head in front of thousands of people, usually in a sports stadium:

SHANGHAI – Police detained unlicensed welders Tuesday on suspicion of accidentally starting a fire that engulfed a high-rise apartment building under renovation in China's business capital, killing at least 53 people, as public anger grew over the government's handling of the disaster.

That's right, you are talking out your colon.

1. Attendant circumstance is very much a part of China's law as it is here. Death sentences are for aggravated murder, not accidental manslaughter.

2. Some executions are by firing squad but lethal injection, the same as some states do it with the three drugs, is the most common method of execution.

3. Executions are announced to the public, but not held in public.

4. Most death sentences are commuted to life in prison if no other crime is committed for 2 years.

5. China's criminal code explicitly forbids the death penalty for people under 18 years old.
