any body on here up in ND? just wondering how it going up there and if the companys are paying or screwing the welders?

I am up here, and the companies are paying well, but the politics are very very bad, took me five years to get my foot in the door, I am planning on moving home in around 4-5 months..

WEAVER where r u located, i prob gonna head up there in a couple weeks some of the rigs i work on here in co r up there i orig from N WI  so not worried bout the cold,hows the housing looking up there for like a 3 bed house say middle of the state? THANKS

Hey I know of some companies in ND looking for rig welders. One of them being the company I currently work for, if you like you can send me your resume and I will pass it on to my boss. Its all fab pipe work.

Well the company I work for that is doing fab pipe welding is looking for 2 pipe welders I'm told. Need to be Hess certified and the job is in Newburg ND at Sund MFG.

Depends of experience, if your single hand or rig. I know the boss is looking for single hand pipe welders.

Hess is the company the company I work for contracts to and basically that means you just have to pass Hess's welding test and your in.

No sir, Sund MFG is who I work for right now. But what we do a Hess certification is required, don't get me mixed up with that company.

Jentry send me a PM I am amereto hess certed. I believe I have all there certs. 6 or 7 tests I believe. Tell ur boss I require a pretty penny but I'm worth a dollar..lol So all seriousness I got references upon request right from the Tioga office.
