it shouldn't darken in sun but the spark from a striker should make it go dark

Florescent lights make them kick on too.. I was just looking at them the other day.. I was at my LWS store and went outside to check out the new ones... I had an old one that would kick on every time I welded overhead in the sun before the arc struck.. Drove me nuts..!! The new ones don't kick on with the sun but the Florescent lights in the store would kick it on.. It was kinda funny..!!

I talk to a girl at support for speedgals. she said a tv remote will make it darken of you click the remote. It used for $480. with shipping.
I'll try useing it with the ADFLO, and try to get used to it. I think it better for my health, then have welding problems and going to a DR. that cost a lot and problay can help the welding person very much. Thanks for your help. Jim
