Oh! On top of it at least 50% of the current big employers that provide HC will drop from doing so in 2014. Plus most Unions will be exempt!!!

Maxine poses a legitimate Obamacare question! Good Question!

Let me get this straight . . . ...

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care
plan that we are forced to purchase and
fined if we don't,

Which purportedly covers at least
ten million more people,
without adding a single new doctor,
but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents,

written by a committee whose chairman
says he doesn't understand it,

passed by a Congress that didn't read it but
exempted themselves from it,

and signed by a President who smokes,

with funding administered by a treasury chief who
didn't pay his taxes,

for which we'll be taxed for four years before any
"benefits" take effect,

by a government which has
already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare,

all to be overseen by a surgeon general
who is obese,

and financed by a country that's broke!!!!!

What the hell could
possibly go wrong???

They say Obama recently quit smoking...

The rest of it might be true:cry:

I recently found out that the health care policy I have is grandfathered in, and altho it might not meet all the Obamacare requirements, I will not get the fine.

This policy costs Me over $10,600/year with a $4000 out of pocket cap. So I pay over $14,600 a year for health care [due to My health situation I will always meet the deductables] that is acceptable, but not exactly up to code. This doesn't cover perscriptions.

I have to wonder what a bonafide Obamacare compliant policy costs, and how many people will actually BUY one.

Isn't the official name of this law "The Affordable Health Care Act" ?????

My heart bleeds for you!
My current employer doesn't contribute to health insurance, and with under 50 people on the plan I'm stuck footing a bill of almost $20,000 PER YEAR to cover my family.
I can't wait until 2014, when I won't have to subsidize everyone who's opted to forgo coverage, but who'll get free care when they're dying in a hospital.

Edit: and I forgot about deductibles in that cost.  That was just the policy cost.  This year, I had a baby which resulted in about $3000 of unreimbursed medical expenses, and there have been plenty of other unreimbursed expenses as well.
