Just landed a sweet gig I've been practicing for 32 years to get! Senior inspector for a company in New Jersey. All travel, working from my home. In Pittsburgh PA now, doing a job for Dow...life is good!

I thought you were teaching welding at a local college? You gave that up for a traveling position as a CWI?

I have to make decision by late August. The company is STRONGLY suggesting I remain full time; easy six figures and a lot less administrative involvement. Besides, I've been practicing 32 years for this gig!

I happy to hear you found something you will enjoy.

Life on the road can get old quickly. I do a fair amnount of traveling, I do try to limit the time spent away from home. A week on the road, a week working from the house, a week on the road, and another week from the house.

Good luck with your new position. I know you will exceed your new employer's expectations. I just hope the job meet yours.

Best regards - Al
