Lincoln SA 200 welder code 6633. A 1968, 69, or 70 model judging by the code on the side of the generator. The face plate was replaced by the previous owner and with this code number I believe it should be a red face plate.  Machine runs well, welds great, and pulls straight.  The carburetor has been rebuilt, new crank shaft bearings, gen to engine oil seal replaced, upgraded to alternator, and water temp gauge installed.  I have an extra starter, fuel tank cap, and radiator cover. Leads and extension cord not included.  Asking $2000obo  Josh 3365773266 Located in NC. There a little big, I will try and resize first chance I get.

I grew up driving a 51, we put a 289 in it. That was one cool truck back when we were kids.

This one is a 49 model with the inline 4 cylinder, it would climb a tree if the bark would stay on it.   I would love to have seen it with a 289 in it.

When I was a kid, I had a '47 Jeep Wagon 2 WD 3 speed/ overdrive [that didn't work] with the 4 cyl engine. It would go up a modest hill if the grass was dry.

Some other guys near Me had a 49 wagon they had crammed a 390 into. They said it would pull the front wheels off the ground, but it kept wringing off drive shafts.

I wish who ever would have replaced the face plate, would have at least transfered the numbers over. I just guess its to much to ask for.

There is a transmission shop up in Fort Worth that has a 1970 will's truck I think it said $700 on it.

Yall might hate me for saying this but. I would love to see a small diesel engine with dual turbos and four will drive put in that thing, its a bit small but would make one bad ass work truck.

There used to be a 3 cylinder diesel motor alot of people would drop into the jeep.  I cant remember who made that motor but I saw one in a 75 CJ5 and the motor almost bolted right up to the factory mounts with out being modified.  It was a great looking set up for a jeep.

Mitsubishi made Small diesel motor back in the 80's but even with all the aftermarket stuff you can find and tuning it as much as possible you can only get about 16 MPG out of it. Not bad now but in a few years that motor just wont be worth anything but scrap, and its LOUD AS HELL !!!

Parent - By kandrwelding (*) Date 08-01-2011 23:36
Went by there today to check it out cause I knew someone would be asking about it. The truck dose not have a motor at all. I'll see if I can get some pictures tomorrow.

Yea it was running and driving when parked, I never understood but my greatgrandpa parked it in his tobacco barn one day and left it.  It set in that barn till my grandpa brought it home years later and parked it in his shop were it sits now.
